A petition has been filed to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG exam to be held for admission in medical college. The Supreme Court can hear this petition this week. Medical students demand that the NEET PG exam should be postponed for about two to three months. It is noteworthy that this year the NEET PG exam will be held on March 5, 2023 as per the schedule. On the other hand, if there is any mistake in the application form, then today is the last day to rectify it.
Today is the last chance for correction
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has completed the application process for NEET exam. After this, the candidates were given a chance to rectify the mistake. For this, a correction window was created, in which candidates can rectify any mistake made in the form. This edit window will be closed after 11:55 pm on February 20. Let us tell you that the students had filed a petition in the Telangana High Court to postpone the examination. The High Court had refused to interfere in this during the hearing of the petition. The court had said that it is not possible to change the date of the examination. After this, the eyes of the students are on the hearing to be held in the Supreme Court.
The Union Health Minister had said this
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had said in Parliament on 10 February that, 'It is very important to ensure that no one is deprived of appearing in this examination. The ministry has increased the cut off date for the students doing internship. The announcement to conduct the exam on March 5 had already been made. The students who are going to appear in this exam are already preparing for it. Earlier there was a delay of seven to eight months in the examinations, which later started happening by four to five months. It is very important to fix it.
Students demand that the NEET exam be postponed. There is a long gap between the exam dates and the counseling process. NEET PG will be held on March 5 and NEET MDS 2023 exam will be held on March 1, 2023.
