According to the data, 21,953 new establishments have also been registered in the month of November 2022, ensuring social security cover to their employees under the Employees State Insurance Scheme.
Maximum registrations in the age group of 18 to 25 years
Out of the total 18.86 lakh employees added during November 2022, the maximum registration was done in the age group of 18 to 25 years. In this age group, a total of 8.78 lakh employees were registered under the ESI scheme. This clearly shows that the youth of the country are getting good employment opportunities in the country.
63 transgender employees were also registered under ESI scheme
According to the data obtained from gender-based analysis of payroll data, in November 2022, 3.51 lakh women members have been registered. According to this data, in the month of November 2022, 63 transgender employees have also been registered under the ESI scheme. This shows that ESIC is committed to provide its benefits to each and every section of the society, not just to any one or limited section.
