Messi will not retire

According to the news of foreign media, after winning the FIFA World Cup 2022, Messi told that he is not retiring. Talking to the media, he said that 'No, I am not going to retire from Argentina's national team. I want to continue playing as a champion.


Messi himself had said after the semi-final match against Croatia that the final on December 18 would be his last match for the country. He reportedly told an Argentine media outlet that I am very happy that I will end the World Cup journey with playing the final match. The next World Cup will come after a long time and I don't think I will be able to play till then, so it is best for me to finish like this.
