There are 3115 vacancies in Eastern Railways and 3151 posts in Southern Railways.

According to the notification issued by Southern Railway, there are 1343 vacancies in Carriage Works Parambur, 527 posts in Central Workshop Golden Rock and 1281 posts in Signal & Telecommunication Workshop Podonur. For which 10th pass candidates can apply.

Candidates between 15 years to 24 years can apply for these posts, who will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, there will be no fee for SC/ST, OBC category.

Railway Recruitment 2022: What is the eligibility

For recruitment to the posts of Apprentice in Eastern Railway, it is necessary for the candidates to have 10th pass or its equivalent degree with 50% marks. Candidates age limit should be between 15 years to 24 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST (SC/ST) candidates, 3 years in case of OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years for Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.
