GATE Registration 2023: Register for GATE from today, know exam details, apply like this

The last date to register online for GATE Exam 2023 is 30 September. However, students will be able to register with late fee till October 7.

GATE 2023 Registration: The application process of GATE has been started by IIT Kanpur from 30th August i.e. today. This application process will continue till 30 September. From November 4 to 11, an opportunity will be given to rectify the mistakes made in the form. Admit cards will be issued on January 3. The exam will be held on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The result will be released on March 16. The last date to apply for the exam is September 30, but forms can be submitted till October 7 on late fees.

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree

Any candidate who is currently studying in the third or maximum year of any graduate degree program or has already completed a government approved degree program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts can apply for GATE 2023 can apply.

For Female Candidates:

Rs 850 per paper till 30 September and Rs 1,350 thereafter.

SC, ST, PWD candidates:

Rs 850 per paper till 30 September and Rs 1,350 thereafter.

Others including foreign nationals:

Rs 1,700 per paper till 30 September and Rs 2,200 thereafter.

Aadhar or PAN card or Voter ID card or Driving license

- passport size photo

- Signature of the candidate

- Certificate of SC or ST (if applicable)

- Certificate of Disability (if applicable)

How to apply for GATE exam

1. Firstly the candidate has to visit the official website, gate.iitk.ac.in.

2. After this click on the link "GATE 2023 registration".

3. Here candidates enter their login details and submit.

4. Now candidates fill the application form and fees.

5. After the application form is completed, click on the submit option.

6. Download the confirmation page and take a print out of it for further reference.
