Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway (WR) has sought applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Apprentice. For this the online registration process has started. Candidates can fill the application form till June 27, 2022. According to the notification, a total of 3612 posts will be filled in the organization through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply for this through the official website of RRC WR, rrc-wr.com. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply for this apprenticeship. The maximum age of the candidates applying for these posts should be 24 years. At the same time, there is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years for SC and ST category candidates in the upper age limit.

Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10th class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade is mandatory.

941 posts for fitter, 378 posts for welder, 221 posts for carpenter, 213 posts for painter, 209 posts for diesel mechanic, 15 posts for motor vehicle mechanic, 639 posts for electrician, 112 posts for electronic mechanic, 14 posts for wireman . There are 147 posts of Refrigerator (AC-Mechanic), 186 posts of pipe fitter, 126 posts of plumber, 88 posts of draftsman (civil), 252 posts of dice (PASSA), 8 posts of stenographer, 26 posts of machinist and turner. Applications have been invited for 37 posts.
Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of merit list for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Merit will be prepared on the basis of educational merit. Whereas candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants are exempted from paying the fees. For more details, see the official notification shared below.
