Punjab Jobs: There is a good opportunity for the youth who are looking for jobs in Punjab. More than 26000 posts will be recruited here soon. In a major decision to provide employment opportunities to the youth, the Punjab cabinet has approved the recruitment of 26,454 posts in government departments. Its decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. A spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said the posts belong to Group A, B and C. Major departments include Home, School Education, Health, Electricity and Technical Education.
On the other hand, CM Bhagwant Mann has tweeted on Thursday that, from today, 26454 job advertisements have been issued in the Punjab Government. He assured the youth that the government would arrange for more government and private jobs in the coming days.
There will be no interview for Group C
The government also directed the administrative departments to ensure transparent, fair and time bound recruitment. At the same time, it has been decided that interview will not be conducted for recruitment to Group C posts. This decision will go a long way in achieving the goal of providing employment. Apart from this, the functioning in the government departments will also get faster, as they will start working with full staff.
Recruitment will be done in 25 departments of the state government
This recruitment process will be completed for various posts of 25 departments of the government. This includes departments like Agriculture, Excise and Taxation, Animal Husbandry etc. At the same time, these days recruitment has come out in many posts in Panjab University. The university has released the official notification for the recruitment of 53 posts. Interested candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website cup.edu.in. The last date to apply for these posts is 29 May.
